Application Process
Apply Online
The BBS application deadline is December 4, 2009.
On the application, please select the Track (called a "concentration" on the online application) which best matches your research interests; your application will be reviewed by that Track's admissions committee. You also have the option of selecting a second choice Track, and the admissions committee of your second choice may review your application should your first choice decline to invite you for an interview.
Application Questions
General questions about applying to BBS may be sent to bbs@yale.edu. Specific questions about the online application itself should be directed to the Yale Graduate School. When emailing the Office of Graduate Admissions, please make sure to place an "#" at the beginning of the subject field of your message to signal that you have a question related to the online application.
Application Fee
The non-refundable application fee is $95. Credit card (Visa or MasterCard) payment from within the online application is the only method of payment accepted. Fee waivers may be granted to U.S. citizens or permanent residents only. Please consult the online application to learn about the requirements for requesting a waiver and to access the waiver form. Note that applications cannot be reviewed without the required fee or an approved waiver.

The ornate Hall of Graduate Studies houses the office of the Dean of the Graduate School, the McDougal Graduate Student Center, and the main on-campus graduate student dorm.
